From permanent pastures, where time and nature meet unadulterated, where the biological character and the biodiversity of the plants are preserved, a bitter is created that combines authentic tradition and modern character.
Achillea, wild thyme, European centaury, wild mint, English plantain, yellow bedstraw and thistle. Seven selected herbs blended in a complex formula that surprises and seduces with its undisputed purity.

"Erbe e spezie" is the amaro that comes from Prime Uve Nere, the most meditative grape distillate from Distilleria Bonaventura Maschio, with its spicy and toasty notes, a result of ageing in wood.

The spices are in fact the scents that most characterise the "Amaro Bonaventura" Erbe e spezie. The area where this amaro comes from, the Venice region, was a crossroads of cultures, of Eastern merchants and their opulence, of scents and flavours that flowed in from all over the world.

The spicy side of its complex structure is carried by cinnamon, vanilla and tonka beans. The bitter side counts gentian, cinchona bark, clary sage and bitter orange; fennel and cumin, known as Persian cumin, add a delicate balsamic note.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Brown with brick red nuances.
Nose: Spicy, notes of cinnamon, cinchona bark, vanilla pods, hints of balsam.
