Case Paolin Rosso del Milio 0,75
Rosso del Milio is a blend of Merlot & Carmenere guyot-trained vines grown in Montello according to the method as presecribed by the founder, Emilio Pozzobon known as "Milio".
The wine making technique is a red-wine vinification with maceration of 10-12 days at an approximate temperature of 25°C / 77 °F to favour the breakup of tannins. Thereafter it is aged in 25hl cashs for 12 - 18 months and in the bottle for a further 6 moths.
Colour: Ruby red with hints of purple.
Aroma: Clear notes of red fruits such as red cherries, blackcherries, and raspberries accompanied by a bouquet oforiental spices (cinnamon). Vanilla and spicy aromas can benoticed in aged products.
Flavour: Harmonic, persistent, full bodied with a dry finish.
Serving suggestion: Excellent with white or red meat dishes and with medium-aged cheese.
