This Chardonnay comes from the Friuli Colli Orientali area, one of the respected wine zones of north-eastern Italy. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for over 18 months, giving it clarity, precision and depth while preserving its fresh mineral character.
 
Tasting Profile:
Rodaro Chardonnay shows an intense straw-yellow colour with good brightness. On the nose, it offers sweet notes of ripe and dried fruit, followed by sweet almond, fig jam, chestnut honey and pear. On the palate, it is broad, persistent and complex, with mineral freshness, good texture, dried-fruit character and a pleasantly bitter almond finish.
